El Yunque is a big
mountain range that has rivers and in the rivers there are lot of little
pieces of gold. There is a river that is called “La Mina’every time you
come to visit El Yunque a lot of tourists are there are lot of tourists
are there El Yunke thereare lot of parrots and a lot of different
kinds of animals. There is famous story about chupacabra. The people
say that if you are lost in El Yunque it is hard to get back to the road
so that police can see you. I know a story that tells about some guy that
was lost in El Yunque about two months and he had to eat some animals in
the, grass and bark from the trees so he didn’t die in El Yunque he was
a scientist who was doing experiments about some plants and animals.
Later they found him but they kept thinking about the aliens that they
think are in El Yunque. In school they make trips
to El Yunque but we have to watch out because you can get lost really quickly
in those rivers and forests. My father and my father’s friend and
I went crabbing in the night and my father had to bring his gun because
we heard a lot of sounds of animals. People say that if the aliens
will see you they are going to take you. I know stories about those
people that they took. They say that when the aliens take you they
are going to do experiments with humans. They want to know how the
humans are, but all thoughts about El Yunque.
Everybody knows that El Yunque is
still nice and beautiful. People are cleaning it up and the government
hired security guards to make sure it stays clean like it was five or nine
years ago. But right now El Yunque is a tourist place that everyone
can go to. Now, in the year 2001 it is more beautiful than in my
grandparents' time.
